View & Comment > Give your input on Scherer Park-Hall’s island, and our other Priority Projects

We’re always interested in what you think.  Now – following the Design Team’s visit this week, and the ongoing Hall’s Island negotiation with permitting agencies –  is a particularly good time to comment on the progress of Priority Projects.

If you didn’t make last night’s open house presentation, hosted by the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board, please take a few minutes to flip through this slideshow. Then please add your comments below.

(If you did make the open house – thanks for dropping by again!)

We look forward to hearing from you!

The 1/17/13 presentation slides are beautiful and encouraging renderings. Unfortunately, folks like me who view them on a PC monitor are denied the text and the detail. I suppose dozens (hundreds?) of people were able to attend the presentation and see and hear the details – but I hope you expect hundreds (thousands?) of people to look at the presentation from your web site, as I did. So – can’t it be better presented on the www? I see many illustrations in web sites that allow me to zoom in on the detail, read the text, and understand the key to the colors & trails. I’m hoping you can improve the website version of the presentation.

As for the new island – bring it on! I’m one of those who will use it as a destination. It will bring me back into Minneapolis where I’ll eat at Stanley’s or Emily’s – and maybe buy gasoline. I am impressed with the design work (creative, detailed) and eager for construction.
    Best Regards,

      Hello, Mitchell –

You’re right, being able to see the key to maps is critical. Thanks for bringing it up. I’m checking with the Design Team on getting higher resolution files which we’ll upload via FTP, and that should address the issue your talking about.

Thanks, especially, for keeping up with our work and your enthusiasm for getting started. When you say it’ll bring you back to Minneapolis – can I ask where you are now?
